Joseph Massey
Joseph's career began in the corporate world with Fortune 500 companies, but the loss of a family member to addiction inspired him to pursue a new path in the helping profession. Motivated by a desire to support individuals struggling with addiction, mental health, and life's hidden challenges, he transitioned into counseling and gained experience across the full continuum of care, including detoxification, inpatient, and outpatient treatment for adolescents, young adults, and adults. In 2009, he founded his own private practice and now also serves as co-host of the Life Lived Better podcast while partnering with Foundation 45, a nonprofit dedicated to suicide prevention, addiction recovery, and mental health awareness.
Joseph is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART), and Nurturing Parenting Program Facilitator. He specializes in helping individuals and families navigate addiction, recovery, parenting challenges, anger management, and personal growth through individualized, compassionate care. His approach focuses on building healthy relationships, strengthening families, and empowering clients to achieve lasting recovery and meaningful life change.
